The Role
You will work at the intersection of research and engineering, optimizing model architectures, reducing inference costs, and ensuring safety and alignment in AI outputs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of cutting-edge LLM architectures and fine-tuning strategies.
- Design and optimize scalable inference pipelines to handle high-volume enterprise workloads.
- Implement novel techniques in Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) and Constitutional AI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into production-ready features.
- Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of model performance, bias, and safety metrics.
- Mentor junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Natural Language Processing.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, with experience in Hugging Face Transformers.
- Deep understanding of Transformer models, attention mechanisms, and generative modeling.
- Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and probability statistics.
- Experience deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
