Responsibilities
- Lead Research & Development: Spearhead the research, design, and implementation of state-of-the-art generative AI models and neural architectures.
- Model Optimization: Enhance model inference speed, accuracy, and efficiency to support real-world, high-volume applications.
- Publish Innovation: Contribute to the academic community by publishing high-impact research papers and patents.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of data scientists and engineers, establishing best practices for MLOps and model governance.
- Strategic Roadmap: Collaborate with product leadership to define the technical vision and roadmap for AI-driven features.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate complex AI solutions into consumer products.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in research or applied machine learning, specifically in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Experience with distributed training frameworks (Ray, Kubernetes).
- Model Expertise: Deep understanding of transformer architectures, fine-tuning methodologies, and prompt engineering.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges and delivering scalable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
