Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design, train, and deploy advanced machine learning and deep learning models to solve real-world business challenges.
- Data Strategy: Lead the end-to-end data lifecycle, from data collection and cleaning to feature engineering and model evaluation.
- Algorithm Optimization: Research and implement state-of-the-art algorithms to improve model accuracy, latency, and scalability.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Productionization: Integrate models into production environments using CI/CD pipelines and MLOps best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (4+ years of experience can substitute for a Master’s).
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in data science or machine learning engineering.
- NLP/LLMs: Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing, LLMs (GPT, BERT), and RAG architectures.
- Big Data: Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing (Spark, Hadoop).
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
