Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement robust microservices and cloud-native architecture to handle massive, real-time traffic spikes during the event.
- Tech Stack Leadership: Guide the adoption of emerging technologies (AI, Edge Computing) to enhance fan engagement and operational efficiency.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce rigorous security protocols to protect sensitive fan data and ensure compliance with international standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Code Quality Assurance: Establish coding standards and perform architectural reviews to ensure maintainability and performance.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and test failover strategies to guarantee 99.99% uptime for critical stadium and broadcast systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural role.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Java, Python, or Go and experience with AWS or Azure (Kubernetes, ECS, Lambda).
- System Design: Proven track record of designing high-availability, distributed systems.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Event Experience: Experience with large-scale event technology or sports industry projects is a significant plus.
