Responsibilities
- Lead the technical oversight of venue-wide network infrastructure, ensuring high availability for 90,000+ spectators and staff.
- Manage the deployment and configuration of Wi-Fi 6E, IoT devices, and dedicated broadcast backhaul systems.
- Execute real-time troubleshooting and incident response during high-stakes match days and pre-game events.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate ticketing, security, and concession POS systems into a unified IT ecosystem.
- Conduct rigorous pre-event testing of backup generators, failover servers, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Mentor junior technicians and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for future large-scale events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise IT, network engineering, or large-scale event technology support.
- Proven track record of managing complex IT projects within strict time-to-market constraints.
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Certifications such as CCNP, ITIL v4, or PMP are highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during the tournament.
