Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for the 2026 Initiative, developing 5-10 year technology roadmaps
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Design and facilitate scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives and government partners
- Author influential thought leadership publications and white papers on future trends
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Translate future insights into actionable business strategies for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-state solutions and impact assessments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with demonstrable impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Proven track record of publishing influential research or thought leadership
- Exceptional facilitation skills for high-stake executive workshops
- Experience developing scenario planning frameworks for complex global systems
- Strong network connections with futurist communities and research institutions
- Portfolio showcasing at least 3 major foresight projects that influenced organizational strategy
