Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present visionary frameworks to investors and board members securing $10M+ innovation budgets
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech ethics and regulatory landscapes
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- Deep expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and investment committees
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Published author or speaker at global innovation conferences (e.g., Web Summit, CES)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of 5+ futuristic initiatives
