This role requires exceptional analytical prowess, creative problem-solving, and the ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives to develop scenario-planning frameworks and drive organizational adaptation to the rapidly evolving future.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026-focused foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive stakeholders
- Produce strategic whitepapers on emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation roadmaps with future market demands
- Monitor global megatrends (AI, climate resilience, bioeconomy) and assess business implications
- Design and deliver executive education programs on future readiness
- Establish thought leadership through industry publications and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Expertise in scenario modeling, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Certificate in Strategic Foresight or Futures Research (e.g., MFTR, CFTR)
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative foresight tools (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
