Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends affecting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks quantifying potential futures across technology, policy, and consumer behavior
- Produce executive-level strategic briefings translating foresight into actionable business priorities
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligning emerging opportunities with organizational capabilities
- Establish cross-industry partnerships to validate future-state hypotheses
- Mentor junior researchers in futures methodology and critical analysis techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies role
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, Sociology, or related quantitative field
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or societal shifts
- Experience translating foresight into C-suite decision frameworks
- Deep knowledge of AI, biotech, and climate technology convergence points
- Certification in futures research (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
