Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology convergence (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to map alternative futures and disruption scenarios
- Author visionary whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging market opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development cycles
- Build and maintain global network of domain experts and thought leadership partnerships
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies and innovation pipelines
- Represent company at global futurist forums and industry shaping conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology leadership
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical discipline
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Deep expertise in at least two convergence domains (e.g., AI+biotech, quantum+climate)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and strategic foresight frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-shaping work or implemented innovation strategies
