Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic vision framework through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for research collaboration
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry conferences
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven resource allocation
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-oriented initiatives in Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Published author in futurism or technology strategy domains
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent professional designation preferred
- Experience managing global remote teams across 3+ time zones
