Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ technological paradigms
- Lead scenario planning workshops identifying disruptive innovations in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions (e.g., neural interfaces, climate AI)
- Author white papers and trend reports published at industry-leading conferences
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government futurist councils
- Mentor junior futurists and build a dedicated foresight incubation team
- Present findings to C-suite and board members with executive-ready visualizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in technology foresight, innovation strategy, or R&D leadership
- Published portfolio of speculative tech projects or trend forecasting
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AGI, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Proven ability to translate abstract concepts into product roadmaps
- Experience with Delphi methodology and horizon scanning techniques
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
