Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop sophisticated scenario-planning models using quantitative and qualitative forecasting methodologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives through compelling visualizations and executive briefings
- Collaborate with R&D teams to validate emerging market opportunities and threats
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers published in industry-leading journals
- Manage cross-functional research projects with external partners including MIT Media Lab and Singularity University
- Mentor junior analysts in futures research methodologies and critical thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related quantitative field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and causal layered analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms
- Strong publication record in futures research or strategic foresight domains
- Experience presenting to executive audiences across multiple industries (tech, finance, healthcare)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution) preferred
