Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, emerging technologies, and socio-economic shifts to inform 5-10 year strategic plans
- Develop and present futuristic scenarios, innovation roadmaps, and disruption forecasts to executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional workshops on strategic foresight, scenario planning, and innovation methodologies
- Identify and evaluate breakthrough technologies with transformative potential for our industry
- Build and maintain relationships with leading futurists, research institutions, and innovation ecosystems
- Translate complex future insights into actionable business strategies and product development priorities
- Author high-impact thought leadership publications and thought leadership content
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) and their societal impacts
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, Futures Cone) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize disparate data into coherent future narratives
- Experience developing and implementing innovation strategies that generated measurable business impact
- Strong presentation skills with history of influencing C-suite decisions through future-focused insights
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, Social Sciences, or Futurist Studies preferred
- Portfolio of published future scenarios or innovation strategy documents
