Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using advanced horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with C-suite executives to transform future insights into commercial opportunities
- Develop proprietary trend intelligence systems monitoring quantum computing, neurotech, and climate resilience sectors
- Present future-state roadmaps to global stakeholders at Davos-level forums and industry summits
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and data scientists while maintaining thought leadership through white papers and keynotes
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding by demonstrating ROI of future-focused initiatives
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and EU Horizon 2030 initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or Innovation Management with 10+ years applied experience
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurist journals (e.g., 'Futures', 'Technological Forecasting')
- Proven track record of implementing future-proof strategies with Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, and ambient AI
- Professional certification from Association of Professional Futurists (APF) or World Futures Federation
- Fluency in strategic foresight tools: Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method, and Systems Dynamics
- Exceptional public speaking record at minimum 3 global innovation conferences annually
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized innovations from future trend analysis
