Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies, market shifts, and socio-cultural trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and risk assessment models
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with executive teams to translate future insights into actionable business strategies
- Author high-impact thought leadership publications and deliver keynote presentations at industry conferences
- Partner with R&D to incubate emerging technologies and validate future market opportunities
- Establish and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Quantify future economic and social impacts through data-driven modeling and forecasting
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of professional experience in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional skills in scenario planning, systems thinking, and quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Strong communication ability to articulate complex futures concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in reputable journals or industry publications
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
