Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech domains
- Develop and maintain comprehensive future scenario models with 5-10 year projections
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation strategy with long-term business objectives
- Present actionable insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Drive the development of Horizon Labs' annual Future State Report
- Mentor junior futurists and foster a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, Business, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record of translating complex future trends into business strategy
- Exceptional research skills with ability to synthesize data from diverse sources
- Strong presentation and storytelling abilities for executive audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in Futures Thinking or related discipline preferred
