Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends across technology, sociology, and economics to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof solutions
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces on disruptive technologies
- Advise on venture investments and R&D priorities in emerging sectors
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in corporate foresight, consulting, or R&D strategy
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS) or equivalent experience
