Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, economic, and social trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes and competitive threats
- Develop horizon-scanning frameworks using AI-driven analytics, scenario modeling, and ethnographic research
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing $500M+ R&D allocation
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in AI/ML ethics, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in scenario planning or horizon scanning methodologies
- Published thought leadership in futurist or innovation publications
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy (required)
