Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop and maintain strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and market opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype future solutions
- Author thought leadership reports and deliver executive presentations on emerging technology implications
- Build and manage an ecosystem of external innovators, startups, and academic partnerships
- Quantify future market opportunities and risk assessments using predictive modeling frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists and champion design thinking methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or foresight roles with demonstrable impact on tech roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or decentralized systems
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into business-relevant strategies and KPIs
- Experience facilitating C-level workshops and presenting to executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Foresight, Technology Management, Strategic Design, or equivalent)
- Published thought leadership or patents in future-focused domains
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ innovation projects with measurable market impact
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
