Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify and validate emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product strategies
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports and keynote presentations for global industry forums
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and tech pioneers across Silicon Valley and beyond
- Advise executive leadership on long-term strategic pivots and competitive positioning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML, biotech, and climate tech convergence points
- Exceptional communication skills with experience delivering executive-level presentations
- Portfolio of published future-oriented thought leadership or white papers
