What You'll Accomplish:
Lead cross-functional teams to develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps based on horizon scanning and trend analysis. Pioneer quantitative and qualitative frameworks for assessing technological, social, and market disruptions. Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed foresight into product development and corporate strategy. Represent Horizon Labs at global forums on emerging technologies and future scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economy, and society
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for long-term planning
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive stakeholders
- Produce high-impact reports on emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Integrate futures thinking into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Build and maintain a global network of domain experts and thought leaders
- Present findings to executive teams and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or foresight roles
- Expertise in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
- Experience with emerging technologies (AI, Web3, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy
