Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies with 2026+ impact
- Develop quantitative forecasting models for adoption curves and market disruption
- Produce executive-level trend reports and strategic roadmaps for key industries
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with C-suite stakeholders
- Advvent client portfolios on future-proofing investments and risk mitigation
- Represent 2026 Labs at global tech conferences and policy forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build our future-focused research framework
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of publishing industry-shaping trend forecasts
- Expertise in at least three future-critical domains: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong network of C-suite relationships across tech, finance, and government
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic pivots for major organizations
- Proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi methods, horizon scanning software)
