Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and publish annual Future Impact Reports synthesizing complex data into strategic insights
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed foresight into corporate strategy and product roadmaps
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops using speculative scenario planning methodologies
- Establish quantitative forecasting models for emerging market opportunities and risk mitigation
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Represent the company at international future-focused conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and quantitative forecasting
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, weak signal analysis, backcasting)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-oriented strategies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Flourish) and trend analysis platforms
