Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economics, and social domains to identify disruptive forces for 2026+
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board members
- Design and facilitate scenario planning workshops for critical business decisions
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on future-facing topics
- Establish cross-functional innovation partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Maintain a comprehensive database of emerging technologies and their potential business impacts
- Mentor junior futurists and build a robust foresight methodology within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (preferred)
