Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks to anticipate 2026+ technological, social, and economic trends
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives for AI, quantum computing, and biotech disruptions
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate future-oriented solutions into roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, industry talks, and media engagements
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Deep knowledge of AI, blockchain, and exponential technologies
- Exceptional communication skills with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership in foresight or technology publications
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state strategy implementation
