Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions impacting 2026+ horizons
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and roadmaps for product development and business strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Present compelling future-state narratives to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Design and implement foresight methodologies including horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on future trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and executing future-focused strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights
- Proficiency in AI-driven foresight tools and data visualization platforms
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
