Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, neural interfaces) to produce actionable 2026-2030 strategic foresight reports
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen human-computer interaction paradigms
- Develop ethical frameworks for deploying AI and biotechnologies at scale
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist forums and tech policy summits
- Mentor junior futurists and establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption curves
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify breakthrough startups in deep tech
- Architect 'Future Ready' certification programs for enterprise clients
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on AI ethics or exponential technologies
- Proven track record influencing product roadmaps at Fortune 500 tech firms
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (STEEP, Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Cognitive Science
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and predictive modeling
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technological transition implementations
- Security clearance preferred for sensitive R&D collaboration
