Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology roadmap with 5-year strategic vision
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design prototypes for next-gen human-machine interfaces and autonomous systems
- Present findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused innovation pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D with proven 5+ year foresight track record
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, Quantum, AR/VR, Synthetic Biology)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience leading technical teams through complex product development cycles
- Proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong programming skills (Python, C++) and systems architecture knowledge
