Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-classical hybrid algorithms for scalable machine learning pipelines.
- Lead a cross-functional team of quantum physicists and software engineers to translate theoretical research into production-ready code.
- Optimize quantum circuits to minimize error rates and maximize computational throughput.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate quantum solutions into existing AI infrastructures.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and establish best practices for quantum software development.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum hardware (e.g., superconducting, trapped ion) and adapt architectures accordingly.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing or AI.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and CUDA.
- Experience with quantum software frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil, or AWS Braket).
- Strong understanding of classical machine learning algorithms (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their quantum counterparts.
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
