Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Develop error-correction strategies for near-term quantum processors
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead technical workshops and publish peer-reviewed research
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning models
- Proficiency in Python with quantum libraries (Qiskit, PennyLane)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum hardware constraints (gate fidelity, decoherence)
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
