Job Description
Join the Vanguard of Tomorrow’s Technology
Nexus Future Systems is pioneering the next generation of computational power. We are looking for a visionary Senior Quantum Architect to spearhead our Project 2026 initiative—a groundbreaking effort to integrate quantum supremacy into enterprise-level AI solutions. If you are passionate about solving the world's most complex problems and are ready to build the infrastructure that will define the decade, we want to meet you.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software engineering, working alongside world-class researchers to develop scalable quantum algorithms and error correction protocols.
Responsibilities
- Algorithm Design: Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications targeting NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) hardware.
- Software Architecture: Design the software architecture for quantum processing units (QPUs) and build the compilers that translate high-level code into quantum circuits.
- Heterogeneous Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to create hybrid quantum-classical systems that leverage the strengths of both paradigms.
- Research & Development: Stay at the forefront of quantum computing advancements, conducting rigorous testing to improve qubit coherence and gate fidelity.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation, precision, and continuous learning within the quantum team.
- Simulation & Validation: Build sophisticated simulation environments to validate theoretical models before deployment on physical quantum processors.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Mechanics or Computational Complexity.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing, quantum chemistry, or related mathematical fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, or CUDA; experience with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil, or PennyLane.
- Mathematical Aptitude: Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis.
- Problem Solving: Ability to tackle abstract problems and translate them into robust, scalable engineering solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
