Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum error correction codes tailored for the 2026 roadmap.
- Optimize quantum circuits for execution on near-term intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) devices.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times and stability.
- Mentor junior quantum developers and conduct code reviews for quantum software stacks.
- Conduct research on quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation.
- Translate theoretical quantum physics concepts into production-ready software libraries.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, quantum information science, or related fields.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Qiskit or Cirq.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis.
- Track record of publishing research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (e.g., APS, IEEE).
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Google Cirq).
