Responsibilities
- Architecting Quantum Circuits: Design and implement complex, fault-tolerant quantum circuits for scalable quantum processors.
- Algorithm Development: Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and simulation problems.
- Hardware-Software Integration: Bridge the gap between quantum hardware capabilities and high-level software applications.
- Error Correction: Spearhead research into quantum error correction codes to ensure data integrity in noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) environments.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including physicists, hardware engineers, and product managers to translate research into real-world solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap for our 2026 product launch.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on computational physics or high-performance computing.
- Quantum Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Programming: Expert proficiency in Python, C++, or CUDA.
- Mathematical Aptitude: Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex numbers.
- Problem Solving: Ability to tackle abstract mathematical problems and translate them into efficient code.
