The Role
As our Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for executing and managing technical SEO strategies that align with our 2024 business goals. You will work closely with engineering, content, and product teams to improve site performance, increase organic traffic, and enhance user experience.
Responsibilities
- Technical SEO Auditing: Conduct comprehensive on-page and off-page audits to identify areas for improvement and implement scalable solutions.
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute data-driven SEO strategies focused on driving traffic and conversions for key product lines.
- Content Optimization: Collaborate with content creators to optimize web copy, metadata, and internal linking structures for maximum search visibility.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush; provide regular reporting and insights.
- Site Architecture: Work with developers to improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor movements to identify new opportunities and threats.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful campaign results.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Google Search Console, Schema markup, and HTML/CSS basics.
- Analytics: Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools: Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, HubSpot) and SEO tools (Moz, Ahrefs).
