Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of the 2026 Initiative infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
- Define technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices for the engineering organization.
- Conduct deep-dive code reviews and architecture assessments to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Drive the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and monitor robust CI/CD pipelines and DevOps strategies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a Senior Architect or Lead Engineer role.
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of designing and scaling large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with experience in functional programming paradigms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make high-level trade-off decisions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR).
