Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen sustainable technologies (carbon capture, circular economy systems, renewable energy integration)
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with global sustainability targets
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budgets across 3-4 concurrent projects
- Secure strategic partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and industry leaders
- Present innovations at international forums (CES, Climate Tech Summit, etc.)
- Mentor junior engineers and designers in sustainable design principles
- Ensure all innovations meet ESG compliance and scalability requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Design, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in R&D leadership, with 3+ years in sustainability tech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized green technologies
- Expertise in circular economy models and lifecycle assessment
- Strong proficiency in AI/ML applications for environmental optimization
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Sustainability (LEED/GRI)
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital for climate tech
- Published research or patents in sustainable innovation fields
