We're seeking a charismatic Weekend Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest experiences during our busiest operational days. As the first point of contact for our discerning guests, you'll manage check-in/check-out processes, handle guest inquiries with precision, and coordinate seamlessly with our concierge and housekeeping teams. The ideal candidate will embody our commitment to personalized service while maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest registration and departure processes while maintaining accurate records
- Proactively resolve guest concerns and coordinate solutions with department heads
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures with 100% accuracy
- Utilize Opera property management system for reservations and room status updates
- Coordinate bell services and luggage handling for arriving/departing guests
- Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure guest room readiness standards
- Execute upselling strategies for premium room categories and hotel amenities
- Maintain meticulous documentation of guest preferences and special requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year front desk or guest services experience in luxury hospitality
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-volume weekend environments
- Valid DC hospitality license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
- Flexible weekend availability (Friday/Saturday/Sunday shifts)
