Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify paradigm-shifting technologies and market disruptions for 2026-2030
- Develop predictive models analyzing socio-economic, technological, and environmental megatrends
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neurotech, and climate adaptation solutions
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive board and investor committees
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions and future-focused organizations
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-proofing methodologies and adaptive innovation frameworks
- Oversee the annual 'Horizon 2026' innovation challenge with $10M in funding allocation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of successful trend prediction and scenario planning implementation
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published research in futurist journals or thought leadership platforms
- Professional certification in Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFIP, CPSI)
