Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and analyze 2026+ emerging trends across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop and maintain the company's 5-year innovation roadmap with quarterly strategic pivots
- Facilitate executive workshops to align leadership on future scenarios and risk mitigation strategies
- Direct cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate disruptive concepts
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation accelerators
- Mentor internal teams in futures thinking methodologies and strategic foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Experience with emerging technologies (generative AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and technical stakeholders
- Published author or speaker at global innovation conferences (e.g., CES, Web Summit)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovation initiatives launched to market
