Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026
- Develop and publish strategic foresight frameworks guiding R&D priorities for the 2026-2030 innovation cycle
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation portfolios with long-term market disruption scenarios
- Design and facilitate speculative design workshops exploring future human-machine interaction paradigms
- Establish KPIs for tracking emerging technology adoption curves and competitive disruption vectors
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and industry forums
- Oversee the creation of '2026 Innovation Playbooks' for cross-functional implementation
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of publishing trend reports or scenario planning frameworks
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech, or neuro interfaces
- Mastery of horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, weak signal detection)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and uncertainty
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or relevant field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of foresight into commercial innovation
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
