Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends, market shifts, and socio-economic indicators to develop 2026+ innovation strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough technologies with $10M+ R&D budgets
- Design and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive opportunities across 15+ industries
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic pioneers
- Develop patent-pending innovation methodologies and thought leadership frameworks
- Oversee the creation of 3-year technology roadmaps aligned with ESG and sustainability imperatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing emerging technologies (3+ case studies required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published futurist research or thought leadership pieces
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTR, CIPM)
