Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech) to identify disruptive business opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for clients navigating post-2025 market transformations
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation roadmaps with future workforce needs
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Scan' reports predicting industry shifts in Web4.0, decentralized governance, and human augmentation
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers, academic partners, and venture capitalists
- Translate complex future scenarios into executable product development pipelines
- Represent the firm at global innovation summits (Davos, Web Summit, SingularityU)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years applying trend analysis in corporate strategy, VC, or policy development
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and system dynamics modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to convert complex future states into executive narratives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight.org)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future forecasts with measurable business impact
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term transformation initiatives
