Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 Strategic Horizon Report synthesizing global tech, economic, and sociopolitical forecasts
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive teams on 2026 market disruptions and opportunities
- Establish KPI frameworks to track emerging technologies' adoption curves and market readiness
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions addressing 2026 human-machine collaboration challenges
- Present trend analyses at international industry summits and publish thought leadership in Future Studies Quarterly
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning methodologies and risk-mitigation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or Technology Policy with 5+ years experience
- Proven track record of publishing industry-recognized trend forecasts (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle contributions)
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario modeling, and quantitative trend analysis tools
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum) and their societal implications
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic initiatives implemented based on future forecasting
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or University of Oxford)
