Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and geopolitical trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future vision and innovation priorities
- Author forward-looking thought leadership reports and predictive whitepapers
- Partner with R&D teams to identify breakthrough opportunities and mitigate existential risks
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against 2026 strategic milestones
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex insights for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
