Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their business implications through 2030
- Develop strategic scenarios for market evolution, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate futuristic insights into product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a horizon-scanning framework for identifying disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-backed narratives
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and their industry impact
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Strategy, Futures Studies, Technology, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Experience with futures research tools (Delphi method, SWOT analysis, PESTEL)
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic frameworks
