Responsibilities
- Analyze global mega-trends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic indicators to identify strategic opportunities and risks for 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks and innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term corporate vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable business initiatives
- Present executive briefings and stakeholder reports on emerging threats and competitive advantages
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Monitor horizon scanning methodologies and maintain proprietary trend intelligence database
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate foresight into development lifecycles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis at Fortune 500 level
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership on future trends (white papers, conference talks, or industry journals)
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Trend Monitor, Foresight Platform, Palisade @Risk)
- Experience advising executive teams on strategic pivots and disruption preparedness
