Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and global megatrends to inform strategic planning
- Develop and present 2026 innovation roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives and stakeholders
- Monitor competitor landscapes and regulatory impacts on future industries
- Create thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning FutureWorks as a futurist authority
- Mentor junior analysts in trend forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, futurism, or technology innovation roles
- Proven track record of successful trend analysis and strategic implementation
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario-planning capabilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and foresight methodologies
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
