Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market opportunities
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future scenarios into product development roadmaps and investment priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives with measurable impact on market positioning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic plans with measurable outcomes
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACFC or similar institution) strongly preferred
