Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive '2026 Horizon Scan' framework to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions
- Architect strategic roadmaps for organizational adaptation to post-2025 global economic and technological landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops using futures thinking methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies with measurable KPIs
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging risks and opportunities in quantum, bio-digital convergence, and climate resilience
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling narrative frameworks
- Pioneer thought leadership through whitepapers, industry forums, and predictive trend reports
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related quantitative field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards
